I wouldn’t object to sharing personal items with an individual who has genital herpes. Once herpes touches air the virus dies almost instantly. Herpes isn’t likely to rub on most surfaces. Some article claim the chance would be rare. I would say the chance of catching herpes is non existent or real close to it.
